Toronto Fashion Week: Hilary Macmillan Show
Today’s post is about another fashion show I attended during Toronto Fashion Week. The last show I went to was held in a parking garage (read here). This one, the Hilary MacMillan fashion show, was held at the Royal Ontario Museum (referred to locally as the ROM). Many of the shows were held at the ROM.
What did I wear?
I wore a pink military coat atop of a black cable-knit sweater I paired with ripped mom jeans. I wore bright leather purple boots. They added a pop of colour to my look. For accessories, I wore my Chloé Nile handbag and Jessica Valerie pearl earrings.
Chloé Nile Bag. (Available Here)
White Baroque Treasure Earrings by Jessica Valerie. (Couldn’t find anything similar but here is her Instagram. She was featured in Vogue!) ~ Contact the designer to see if she has any in stock.
Purple High-heeled Ankle Boots from L’Intervalle. (Available here)
A Closer Look
More of this look
In terms of the show, it was really interesting to sit in a museum and watch a fashion show while being surrounded by dinosaur fossils! Such a fun experience. The collection itself was exciting. There were several pieces that I loved and would want to have in my closet. The models could have been more diverse but overall it was a great show to attend. The music selection was great and really set the tone for the show. It was a wonderful atmosphere. Everyone seemed to enjoy the show. There was a huge round of applause at the end. You can pre-order the collection now on the Hilary MacMillan website.
If you’ve attended fashion shows before, please do share with me if you’ve ever attended a show in a museum or some other unique location. I would love to hear about your experience ❤︎
